Academic honors are determined each semester (including summer when full time is 6 credits for the purposes of determining academic honors). Students with an incomplete grade are unable to receive academic honors until the incomplete grade is resolved.
President's List
A full-time, matriculated student in good standing with a Grade Point Average of at least 3.70 is entitled to honors on the President’s List.
Vice President's List
A full-time, matriculated student in good standing earning a Grade Point Average of 3.0 to 3.69 is entitled to honors on the Vice President’s List.
Effective Fall 2027:
As honors are a ceremonial recognition, the criteria applied will be based on the policy in effect at the time of recognition rather than the catalog year associated with the student. Effective fall 2027, the honors policy will be revised as follows:
President's List
A matriculated student in good standing completing at least six (6) credits in an academic term (fall, spring, or summer) and earning a GPA of 3.70 or higher for that term is recognized on the President’s List.
Vice President's List
A matriculated student in good standing completing at least six (6) credits in an academic term (fall, spring, or summer) and earning a GPA of 3.30–3.69 for that term is recognized on the Vice President’s List.
