This is a capstone course focusing on the synthesis of professional knowledge, skills, and attitudes in preparation for professional employment and lifelong learning. This course provides an opportunity for students to prepare to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry board examination upon graduation. This course provides students with a chance to participate in practice quizzes, mock registry exams, apply for the ARRT exam, and recognize national and local state licensure requirements and the continuing education process. This course will prepare students for the profession by providing cover letter and resume workshops, preparing for the interview process, and learning about job opportunities available in all Medical Imaging Modalities. An introduction to Imaging Modalities is included in this course for Computer Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Sonography, Bone Density, Radiation Therapy, Interventional Radiology, etc.
